The GALERIE des MODERNES, founded in 1998, was
born from the shared vision of Philippe BISMUTH and Vincent
AMIAUX.
Philippe
BISMUTH, after
a B.A. in Economics and a M.A. from the Ecole du Louvre, lent his expertise in twentieth century painting
and sculpture over the last ten years to a number of auctioneers,
including the Crédit Municipal de Paris, before
devoting himself fully to his current position as a dealer
of modern art.
Vincent
AMIAUX holds a Masters degree in both Art History and private law. He is an expert on Cubism,
specialized in the works of Albert Gleizes.
Clients of the Galerie des Modernes benefit from the combined experience of Vincent Amiaux and Philippe Bismuth. In both galleries, the Louvre des Antiquaires and Rive Gauche, they share their
taste and passion with a diverse public of amateurs, collectors
and French and foreign institutions.
